Services Offered

DNS ("Domain Name System")

DNS, or the "Domain Name System", can be confusing. But think of it as the Internet's equivalent to the telephone book. DNS maps domain names, like www.ZopeTopia.com, which are easy for people to remember, to the IP ("Internet Protocol") numbers, like 65.39.139.150, that uniquely identify every computer on the Internet.

It's not enough to simply own a domain name. You also have to register your DNS address so that other people on the Internet can locate the computer that hosts your website and handles your email. Beware some unscrupulous domain name registrars that charge exhorbitant fees to do DNS once you have registered your domain name with them.

Zope Web Hosting

A website is a necessity for almost every business. Having a website means that your business has a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, worldwide presence.

All of our website packages (and this website!) are based on the next-generation Zope Web application server. More than just a regular Web server, Zope lets you rapidly develop websites using nothing more than a regular Web browser (so you don't have to fiddle with ftp or know Unix).
