Matthew Wilks, President
A graduate of the University of Toronto's Honours Computer Science program,
Matthew has more than 5 years experience in web development
Having worked on a number of large-scale web development projects including the
Air Canada Centre website, Matthew has a
large amount of experience developing content management systems. Taking over for John
as President of ZopeTopia (formerly Lane Street Labs), Matthew brings that knowledge to
bear in the world of Zope.
Russell Sutherland, Network Architect
As the owner of Quist Consulting, Russ
brings to ZopeTopia his extensive experience in network design
and Internet server administration.
An acknowledged expert on building robust,
large-scale email systems, Russ was the technical reviewer for
Running qmail,
a manual for qmail, widely recognised as the fastest and most secure email
server available. Russ also has extensive experience building and administering
Unix Internet servers and firewalls. Russ holds an M. Sc. degree in Chemical
Engineering from the University of Toronto.
John Barham, Technical Consultant
A graduate of the University of Toronto's Honours Computer Science program,
John has experience in developing a wide variety of computer systems.
Having worked with large-scale mainframe-based computer systems for the Federal
Government of Canada and Xerox to developing handheld applications for the Palm Pilot
and database-backed dynamic Web applications, John brings the architectural know-how
and technical breadth necessary for building and administering scalable
and reliable Internet applications.
He has lectured on Web application development at Comdex™ Vancouver
and has a published recipe in the Python Cookbook, a technical book for
Python programmers.
Nigel Barham, Sales and Marketing, Central Canada
Having founded Survivor Fire,
the most popular Survivor fan site on the Web with 5,500 members enrolled,
and averaging over 15,000 page views per day, Nigel has proven he knows what brings
people to a site and—more importantly—what keeps them coming back.
